    Tendonosis/Tendinitis and MR-scan

Is tendonitis/tendonosis easy to spot on and MRI scan?

Well I think or I know I have either of these conditions in my left arm.
I have had on and off (mostly on) for the better part of two years.

I have had an X-ray, aswell as MRI-scan. Showed nothing.
I have a acromion type 1/2 which is a slight "hooking".
This type of acromion gets impingement syndrome much easier then 1.

What do you guys think I have? I am leaning towards tendonosis?

I've tried anti-inflammatories and cortisone, none of which seemed to cure it.
I recently began going to a chiropractor, which massages my soar spot, and it seems to help (to early to say).

    My problem:

    - Pain on the front of the shoulder
    - Sometimes down to the biceps (all the way down on the upper arm)
    - Painful arch when I raise my arm out to the side
    - The pain is burning, maybe 3/10. But is pretty much ongoing all the time.

    Started:

    - Benching to often (3 times per week)
    - Reinjuring this injury by lifting to heavy to soon

    Chiro says:

    - Cortisone will help because I have an impingement syndrome and that will reduce swelling and make for normal space in the shoulder, and all should go back to normal after.

What do you guys think of this? Help needed. Sick and tierd.. Want to become a BB, but my body is slowing me the **** down.

I had a simular experience when over training and damaged the tendons in my rotary cuff. Same thing went to the doctor and all he could prescribe was to rest it and use anti-inflamitories. Tried stopping my training for two weeks but still had pain when lifting. I continued after the two week rest while in pain I just lowered my weights slightly. The pain continued for over 6 months... It did eventually heal but in that time i stubbled across Cissus Quadrangularis which did seem to aid in the repair and now I feel no pain in my rotary cuff when training. Probably would have healed faster and naturally if I had stopped training for longer but I just couldn't stay out of the gym any longer.

Seemed to work for me, maybe you should give it a try... Anyone else try this product with success?

i say you are dealing with tendonosis, you have micro tears in tendon and your body is unable to heal itself, its a chronic problem, i have been dealing with it for awhile, i tried cissus quadrangularis and it did not help me.keep going to the chrio,is he doing active release? also if watch the how much wt you use you probably have to back it down a little, use very strict form and if something aggravates it to much lay off that movement.

I think I am going to take a long break from lifting, untill it settles. I can make the gains back in 2-3 months, and then make superior gains when I am healthy. I am stuck in a rut when Im hurt, cant move weights for shit.. Just hurts.

    I'll try me some cissus

I am also thinking tendonosis :|
I don't know what active release is, but he rubs on my tendon (the soar spot, back and forth).
Yep when I use to much weight it starts to hurt like a mother****er. Doesn't seem to bad when using lightweights, though...
