    Meats at what time

Just a quick question. what is the best times to take different kinda meats.
    Egg whites in the morning
    Chicken
    Ground Beef 93%
Ground Turkey 93% (thats all i can get)
    Tuna

those are the main meats that i eat. is it better to do ground beef at night or something or chicken at night? whats the best time to eat those. or does it not matter because meat is meat lol.

also some more meat suggestions that you guys like would be cool. idk somthing lol i cant get any fresh fish where i am so i dont eat it.

bulk = 2-3 beef meals a day one being at night
cut = 1 or less beef meal per day

Egg whites in the morning and cottage cheese before bed are the only two that are really set in stone for me. Oh, and I don't eat fatty meat pwo if I can help it.

ok, chicken breast be a good pre workout(not right before you go to gym but you get the point) eggs good in the morning. beef is legit for night time or when you might be slightly late on a meal becasue of the slow nitrogen release.

protien is basically nitrogen, and good levels of nitrogen will help keep your gains up!
i hate eggs so... but for morning i will hit up the isolate with an apple, than hit a chicken breast a little bit later.

I'd say lean red meats are your best choice before bed because they're slowly digested.

I like egg whites in the morning. And in the afternoon/evening I'll just have whatever meat I cooked that day. I usually only eat one kind of meat/day because I don't feel like cooking different things all day long, and then having left-overs.

And the statement about having meat only once per day when cutting is completely wrong. When I was cutting this spring/summer my main source of protein was Eye of round steak, and I still lost a lot of fat. As long as your macros are on sport your good to go.

even lean red meats contain a good amount of fat. Better to eat red meat when bulking, I would not omit it from a cutting diet completely, but I would be careful as to where I place it and how often it is used; not saying you can't cut with red meat, or that it is bad in any way, only saying eat it less.

um yes that is exactly what I am saying. how does the body know what foods are considered "breakfast"? It makes absolutely no difference at all in body composition what time he eats whichever meats. It's amazing how people like to overthink things sometimes. It's really not rocket science. his body will be the same regardless. Just so you know, many bodybuilders have egg whites before bed

many body builders are gifted with great genetics. egg whites and whey will be out of your system so quickly you will be catabolic for hours before you wake up. eggs go through your body so quick that they are actually used to determine how fast you are digesting things, and if there are any internal problems. they dye eggs and watch them move through your whole body in a matter of hours. KEY WORDS: your whole body. if this was a steak we would be in the room for the whole day. I have had this test done on myself btw. And I do not think that I need to comment on whey, which is a liquid...

Your body does not know what is "breakfast" it just knows that it needs nutrients fast and that is why you give it eggs and whey in the morning.

    You take casein PWO?

I will agree with your statement to a certain degree, there is quite a bit of overthinking that goes with dieting and having the basics down is 85% of being successful. That said...you cannot discount the time release rates of different types of protein. Correlating these release rates and amino acid profiles with "after fasting" "post workout" and "prior to sleep" can make a difference for those seeking to dial in their diet for optimal results.

It's not that the body knows "Hey this is breakfast" it's the fact that certain foods digest faster then others. Eggs break down fast which is why it's a good meal for when you wake up because you've been in a fast, red meat and CC is good before bed, because they digest at a very slow rate keeping you fuller with amino thru the night... Make sense?

You can always pull the "I don't think it matters" card, but why not do everything you can to get like fireguy said, optimal results.

There is absolutely no valididty to what types of meat you suggested at certain times here. Chicken breast pre-workout? Why?

Beef 110% is your best choice pre-workout. After training your best bets are egg whites or fish.

Consuming beef a few times a day is probably the best thing to do imo, it gives the best anabolic response. Other than that its best to vary your protein sources between chicken, turkey, beef, eggs, fish.
