    Question Where can I get blood work done and cost?

    I will be paying out of pocket. Any one know where or how to find a place and about how much it might cost? Thanks

    Couldn't find it in there?

    Thanks for the response. I have been reading in there for hours and hours previous to posting and didn't find anyone saying how much there blood work cost or where or how they found a place (& that does it right.) I read nearly every thread for the last 3 months and couldn't find my answer. Thanks again for responding.

    Smile I found it

    I found it Lovebyts on google. Thanks. For everyone else out there wondering about where to get a lab test- you can go to www.healthonelabs.com. Type in your zip code. They quoted me $60 for this:

    "The Comprehensive Health Profile has been our most ordered test for 28 years. The profile screens for cardiovascular risk, major organ function, anemia, diabetes, infection, blood disease, and other indications of illness. This is the blood test routinely ordered as part of an annual physical exam.

    The Comprehensive Health Profile consists of the following groups of tests:

    * Lipid Panel

    * Liver Profile

    * Kidney Panel

    * Minerals & Bone

    * Fluids & Electrolytes

    * Complete Blood Count

    * Diabetes Screen

    Preparation: fast 12 hours prior to this test, unless you are diabetic or pregnant. Fasting means abstaining from food and any non-water drinks. Do drink plenty of water while fasting and continue with any prescribed medications.

    Men - you may want to consider the Men's Health Value Package, which includes this test, plus the PSA blood test and a Urinalysis for $40 more."

    www.healthonelabs.com offers local labs 4 testing

    At the same website the offer a different test for testosterone levels and the quote $60 for it. I don't know though from swimming around the website if this test will give you all the testosterone level details this forum recommends.

    Here is a link to a place where you dont need insurance or a Dr script for blood work( they provide one for you ) .. www.anylabtestnow.com They have a testosterone test ( checks total , free test levels for only $79 http://www.anylabtestnow.com/Tests/M...ctid/2897.aspx

    ( I have seen peeps pay almost a $1000 for bloodwork ( at quest or labcorp )..

    They have a locator on their website so you can check if you have one close to you ( you go in and they draw your blood).. Link to locator http://www.anylabtestnow.com/Find_Us.aspx

    Also have you read my bloodwork sticky ? Heres a link to that . http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=254423

    Any Lab Test Now

    Yes, I read your article on blood testing and even printed it out- thanks. Unfortunately, the company "Any Lab Test Now" doesn't have any locations in California yet. Thanks for responding.

    Knowledge

    It seems like in the USA you either can go to www.healthonelabs.com or www.anylabtestnow.com to find a local testing center. At Health One Labs to get all the testing recommended by this thread: http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=254423 You will have to get 6 test done:

    Comprehensive Health Profile $60
    Homocysteine Test - $60
    Testoterone - $60
    Luteinizing Hormone - Healthone doesn't offer it!
    Estradiol - Healthone doesn't offer it!
    Thyroid Panel- $60

    So, 4 out of 6 tests are setting you back $360 and you will still need to get 2 more tests!
