Pure Tamoxifen Citrate should taste really bad no?

I'm assuming one because its a citrate salt it should have a terribly bitter taste like any citrate right?
My friend gave me a 1gm bag of tamox months ago because it he "so much" he had ordered in bulk, and actually asked me if I needed any.

I said "sure" lol, and just stashed it away for a couple of months. Well tonight I was looking at my nips, and they looked a little puffy (not on cycle or anything) and just out of curiousity I get the back, moist my finger, touch a bit, put it on my tounge, and it has no taste at all.

Theres no fvckn way this is Nolva right? I feel bad for the kid because he was using that same nolva to pct off **2** cycles, and I know where he got it from, its the same place I had an issue with a while ago. This is pissing me the fvck off because he would have no reason to give me a fake bag of anything. So this company has yet again fvcked up. This is ridiculous. I just want to verify that it should have a strong taste, then I'm gonna call him up. Thanks.

I think you may be getting confused with chemistry and how they make drugs.

Just because it says citrate, it does not dictate it taste a certain way.
