deployment to Iraq!

hey guys,

going to IQ with a PMC. being posted to a US Base. what s the story with bringing my gear along or alternatively having it sent to an APO address? any of you with experience in that area - your input is much appreciated!

You won't be able to bring it with you, that's for sure.

As far as having it mailed, don't quote me on this, but my brother is over in Iraq right now and we were just talking about this. He said everything that comes into there is x-rayed.

bummer!; thanks for the info though, mate - was kinda worried that that's gona be the case! any chance of bringing in oral's only ... i.e. in an amino tab tub or something similar ... what u reckon?

When I went to Iraq some of my friends took there gear with them, I wouldn't mail it. I guess it depends on what unit you are in but I could take what ever I wanted there

did they take amps/vials or oral's only? am going as part of a PMC deployment but attached to a US Mil Base. just wana make sure I don't f*** up my contract right from the start by being busted for bringing gear in! kinda crap that can't get it mailed ... all or nothing then...

they took vials, we have a shit ton of gear so it was easy to hide plus no one checks are shit going there
