I have experienced that after fasting more than 12 hours (more often 24) I then put on weight quickly for a few days. I was wondering if it is possible to utilise this effect when bulking. My secondary motives are to give my digestive system a holiday for 24 hours during a 2 day rest period from gym before returning to bulking and heavy lifting.
I would fast from after breakfast one rest day one until mid day the next day. Then protein and carbs for the next days workout heavy.
