Chicken... it's so god damn dry! Is brown sauce OK?

I live in Thailand, and I can get a fully cooked chicken at the side of the road for about 4 or 5 dollars.

I've been trying to adopt a bodybuilding diet step-by-step, but I have to say it's painstaking trying to eat a chicken without any sauces because it's so damn dry!

Why kind of stuff can I put on chicken to make it taste less dry? When I lived in Wales, I used to eat cold chicken with "brown sauce" all the time. In America I think you call it "steak sauce", this stuff here:

except this is the one everyone eats in Wales:

I was thinking of buying a whole chicken every day, cutting it into little pieces and putting it on a bread sandwhich with brown sauce. Then I could carry the sandwiches around with me in Tupperware all day.

    What other sauces are OK?

By the way I've been told that white bread isn't great for bodybuilding. Is it really that big a deal if I make the sandwiches with white bread?

yes, inside the body consuming white bread is close to having a soda. It causes insulin to spike and gives you quick energy. Wheat bread is a complex carb giving you enegry over an extended period of time, is healthier, and doesnt cause such a large insulin spike. There are times of the day when white bread is O.K, but for the most part complex carbs are the way to go. As for your sandwiches, try putting on some mustard, very low cal, and taste pretty decent, maybe even vinager

    Depends how hardcore you are.

    They are packed with sugars.

What I do,is paste a little mac oil when I grill, with herbs and garlic, then blaze it with lemon or lime juice when finished.Does the job....

Brown sauce is absolutely f***ing gorgeous by the way. I haven't actually seen brown sauce in Thailand yet but I'm going to go hunting for it tomorrow.

    How about mayonaise?

mayo should be OK. Use lite mayo

try the vinager or mustard tho, it taste pretty good and is low calorie. If you like it then you wontr have to worry about using sauces high in sugars or fats. Goose also had a good idea with the garlic and harbs and lemon juice.

You just need to start thinking of food as fuel, not an enjoyable pursuit. Have a cheat meal every now and then and accept that the confidence your new body has given you is worth giving up foods that will shorten your lifespan and make you soggy. Yes, that includes AI and Mayo.

if you want it to be moist get you a George Forman grill, it makes it unbelievably moist. another way to make it moist is to cut the meat in small junks and cook then in a very hot pan, you can squeeze fresh lemon, add garlic and whatever spices you like, you can also chop a fresh tomatoes and throw it in the mix...
