Hey all! 40 year old newb here. Just wanted to chime in and say how much I have enjoyed the forum over the past couple of days. I have read until my eyes bleed and am ready to join the aging masses in this forum. Thanks to all who have pointed me in the right direction and put me on the path of ultra-knowledge. Especially all who sent me to the diet vid section where I have spent assloads of time getting my knowledge on - and I thought I was well versed in diet! - and to all others for the warm welcome and knowledge.
I have been apprehensive/nervous and researching for awhile now (a couple years here and there) but just as of late signed up to two forums to learn as much as possible to figure out if I wanted to cycle or not.
During the process, I realized:
A) I need to COMPLETELY drop the winter fat before the cycle
B) my diet is pretty damn good BUT could use some tweaking
C) the cycle that I had planned had to many chemicals and the SERM & PCT needed (needs) tweaking
D) my memory is not what it used to be -- how many names, vowels, abbreviations and slang can you have for one fargin piece of gear!
F) the only thing i'm apprehensive about anymore is my already follicularly challenged skull! and finally..
G) Ajax sticky was some crazy cool motivation!
Anyway, my beginning post "40 year old newb would like some advice.." which i posted 3 days ago seems like eons ago. I have read so many posts and gained soo much info that I think I have a much more solid grasp and finally feel like I may not **** this up!
I still have many a question for all and am glad Sir Slimy pointed me to the old fart arena. Most of the questions that I have are directed towards age issues and how to go about doing things the PROPER way at our age.
As stated earlier, I am dropping to my normal weight before I begin and would actually like to be under that before I start. I put in the post my weight as 193 but that is my normal carry around weight. I was 198.6 when posted and weighed in at 194 1/2 this morn. I haven't done my homework on thermogenics but would they be beneficial before a cycle? Or even harmful before a cycle?
I'm in pretty good condition as is but am crazy about the details and would like to go in feeling completely squared away.
From what i've read of clen your cardio takes a dip which is definitely not what I want beforehand. I've got time if it would be better to drop naturally - it doesn't really take much for me to lose anyway. Although I haven't seen an ab muscle in a few years I can feel them lurking close to the surface and when I need to expel gas upon my kids heads but definitely need to do some more core cardio in order to visit them again. I leaned out the diet and am taking in enough protein to keep muscle but am thinking that i would rather go into the cycle completely clean and flushed out rather than adding a thermo or another chemical before.. But if under 15% is a must - the dude abides.. Let me know your thoughts..

1 -10 500mg Test E
10-13 500\250iu HCG a day
11 40mg Nolva ed
12 30mg Nolva ed
13 20mg Nolva ed
13-14 20mg Aromasin ed
Nolva and HCG mid cycle if needed
I posted this in another forum and the consensus was to lengthen the HCG and Test cycle and after reading much since then I would like to lengthen the Nolva also. Unsure if i will lengthen the Test but will grab enough gear to have on hand in case anything pops up (or out) or i want to lengthen it. I would really like to hear what the older generation thinks and why and will adjust my cycle accordingly.
Also, an extremely helpful older gent in the other forum suggested some Vit C and phosphatidylserine during PCT to help with cortisol and suggested a heart monitor (wouldn't have thought of that!) which i have already bought. I have also already bought B6 for the cycle but I would like to hear your own routines/quirks and opinions about muscle loss during and after PCT, liver toxicity, etc. and what natural things you do to combat them during and after a cycle.
