    Question New~22 and need to lose 40 Lbs--HELP

    Hello,

    I need to lose 40 lbs and I need help on educating me on what type of things to do and take- I have been scammed by many different wieght loss pills. I hava a lot of friends who are on different things and i need some guidance. I want to lose wieght and gain my muscle back.

    PLEASE if anyone has some great advice I would greatly appreciate it!!!

    welcome. you need proper diet and cardio, pills won't do it.

    Thank you for replying. I need some guidance. I am now working out 5-6 times a week and im eating very healthy- Its just i need more of a jump start. I have tried Clen but did not like it. Is there anythig that I could use to enhance my wieght loss??? I am so desperate to see results.

    Well I usually eat either yogurt in the am. and a piece of toast. I drink water all day long. In between breakfast and lunch i eat usually an apple or an orange. For lunch i try for a salad, spinich leaves, sometimes chicken- bell pepers, tomaotes, cheese and all the stuff youd see ona salad. For the snack between lunch and dinner i eat usually some sort of Bar- Speacial k bar, Tigers mIlk.. somthing to give me energy. I then go work out and then eat dinner, usually chicken, or like salmon. Um greens and sometimes like a sweet potatoe for dessert. I love food and I have a roomate to help me cook healthy but it seems like im not losing anything. I do cardio 4+ a week. about an hour of it...... Im just in need of some true and direct advice.

    how long, how often, and at what intensity?

    I am 5'7 and 189 lbs. I go on the eliptical 10/10 for 15 10/5 for 15 on and off. incline/ resistance

    i dont understand 10/10 and all those other numbers but thats okay...

    Do this

    DIET: u need roughly 2000 calories a day for your weight

    45/35/20 ratio of carbs/protien/fat

    carbs total for day shoul be around 230-250
    protien total for day around 180-195
    fat per day around 46-50

    eat every two or three hours. close to 6 meals a day

    per meal u need roughly 50g carbs,32g protien, 8g fat

    IMPORTANT: Carbs need to be mostly complex low GI, after 6 cut carbs
    also eat veggies, and if you eart fruit eat it early in the day

    DO EXACTLY THAT FOR YOUR DIET

    EXERCISE

    Just run or jog as soon as u wake up on an empty stomach

    FOLLOW THIS EXACTLY AND POST RESULTS AFTER 2 WEEKS, YOU CAN THANK ME THEN

    Ok, I wrote all this stuff down and I will follow this. See the thing about the early running is I work at 7 I will try to hit the gym at 5 to6 am. then to work. See is ther like a sample diet to show what kinds of food to eat. I used ot play sports and I wieght lifted for 4 years in High school. once i graduated I was so busy i gained wieght from college and other stressful events. Now Im regreting my decisions and not only do I want to lose it fast and keep it off but i wan tto change my lifestyle of eating and exercising. Ive been watching people at the gym and tryong to do what they do but with out that person there to explain the meanign of a workout I feel sort of clueless. I know most workout and thier reason. But the food part is my deal. and I was wondering if I should buy some sort of pills to excellerate the wieght loss. I used to be on Hydroxycut hardcore. i liked it. What would you reccomend?

    forget the pills (I u really want to diskus pill we can that, but take advice u dont need it)

    are you lifting at all or are u just trying to lose fat?

    I am tryong to lose fat and bring out my muscles i used to have. Well i would love to try a pill for a month to jump start my wieght loss. I have decided to go to the gym in the Am and in the PM. Will that be too much? I am serious about losing it and I have read so many other great posts and great advice and Your advice is helping a ton as well. But yes I would like to see if I could use some sort of pill.

    40 40 20 seems to be the right split for you. And don’t forget to exercise also. If you don’t exercise all this diet will just go to waste. I lost much of my excess weight with proper diet and regular exercise.

    I'm not a diet expert but you can always ask a trainer at the gym to show you certain exercises that may target areas you want to change. Do be a scared you prob pay good money to go there so ask. As far as cardio if you have a hard time really hitting it hard go like three minutes at high intensity and three on low, catch your breath, back up to high again, this sometimes works better then trying long stretches at high intensity that kill you. Get some caffeine in ya before you work out plus a low calorie food to get your matabolism going. Last be patient because it took years to put this wieght on so it's not gonna come off in six weeks at least all of it.
