    Correct Enathate dosage

I have been on and off trt using 100mg of cyp per week for ten years and now am 57 years old. My new doctor provided a script this time for Enanthate 200mg per 1cc, and prescribed 1cc per week. Is this an equal dosage? If not, what would be and what can I expect from Enanthate compared to Cyp.

It's water based so does that mean it kicks in faster and leaves quicker? Can I just switch from using cyp to enanthate without cycling off for awhile? I have only been on this current cyp cycle for five weeks. What are the main differences between the two?

its not equal, double the dose
Enanthate is very similar to cyp, most consider them interchangeable.
You will see a difference because of the dose being doubled. i have been on TRT at 200mg of cyp for years. Seems to be a good dose for me.
Being water based only means its being suspended in water as oposed to oil, it won't change the nature of the enanthate.
If you are on a prescibed TRT dose there is no reason to go off. I will be on for life because I have naturaly low test and began TRT at that point.

    good advice..

op, did this new doc give any reason for the change or is he not aware of you old script?
what concerns me, if you planned on taking 200mg per week you may have to monitor estrogen....when i ran 150 and up i would get nipple sensitivity and took arimidex in fear of gyno or any other estro related sides.

I like to get some feedback from guys taking 200mg of Test E or C. Taking that perscribed dose are you getting any noticable water retention or bloat?

Thanks guys. But what is the difference between cyp and enanthate? The doc did not give a reason because he is not familiar with either.

For what you want to get out of it? Absolutely nothing!! I can't give you the scientific difference, but they are very close. For most guys its just a personal choice. On the black market from where I'm from, Enan. is a little more money. It's just like asking someone what do you like better; Pepsi or Coke? I'm sorry I can't be more specific.

mazguy, many people say there's no major difference. Chemically there is a slight change - Enanthate has a 7-carbon ester chain while cypionate has an 8-carbon ester chain. I haven't been in Chemistry for eons so this means nothing to me To what we experience in terms of how it works for us, is that they're pretty much interchangable (as others have said here). I'm on Test E because that's what my Dr. prescribed for me. I'm in the US but he was trained on TRT in Europe and Test E is more prevalent there, and Test C more-so in the US.

If you want to stay on the same dosage, then you'll need .5 cc of the Test Enanthate, and not the 1ml which would work out to 200mg. Do you want to increase it after 10 years of being on the 100mg amount? My question is does the Dr. realize that he's prescribed you double the dose, and if so then why? Also you said cycle - with TRT, that's kind of surprising. How long do you typically go on the Test and then stay off?
