Medical study of 4 BBs on cycles and the damage done

I saw this posted elsewhere I thought more should see it.

    http://eurheartj.oxfordjournals.org/.../1576.full.pdf

    This is a good read.

Admittedly these boys are on heavy cycles for prolonged peroids....but, some of the damage to their body is done for good.

What makes studies like this is difficult to access is that we dont know wether or not they had pre-existing cardiac conditions, genetics, diet etc??? I am in total agreement that massive doses of aas' for long periods of time will precipitate cardiac complications.

I think that it is important that individuals should always have a complete cardiac, blood, lipids, etc, etc work up before using these compounds.

I do not believe that trt replacement for hypogonadal men is anything but healthy for those that do not have any pre existing conditions that would make aas use contraindicated for those people.

    This is the conclusion:

As the number of athletes who have taken massive doses
of anabolic steroids for long periods is possibly increasing,
the findings of the present report are of most
concern and should warn all physicians and athletes of
the serious risks involved in the continuous use of large
    doses of anabolic steroids.

I do not see how this conclusion is reached based on the data.

Did I miss something or does it seem that the guy with the lowest doses by far (patient 3) had the most serious heart condition?

Holy crap! Anything will kill you at those doses! Even sugar in that amount would kill you faster! I feel better about my decision to use AAS every time I read these studies.

Interesting, I am sure we will hear more and more issues of this nature as years go by.

I'm not quite sure I understand, the dosages in the table are per week or what? If so the last guy was doing 4.5g of test a week which is insane. It said hes been doing it for 12 months also. I dunno if thats even possible I probably am not understanding right.
