Best spot to go for summer 2011 in america.canada

Next summer me and a mate or 2 are thinking about going to America or maybe Canada for the summer and work over there!! Really regretting not doing it this summer and really want to do something next summer.

Has anyone done something like this?
Where would the best place be for a 21 year old (22 in november) to go? Easy to get some part time work and to have a good social life!! Also good gym would be a plus

If you go to the USA, get used to washing your hands with urine

If you can afford rent, Vancouver British Columbia is without a doubt the best city within North America.

That said, expect rent in downtown vancouver to be close to $1000 - 1500 for a one bedroom apartment. (yes, that's not a typo.)

I'm a dual citizen (american/canadian) and I have never been somewhere so beautiful during the summer, or anywhere w/ the type of women that city hosts. It's unreal...
