For every 10 injections I do, 6 of them will bleed like crazy! Doesn't matter where, glute, thigh, delt... about 4 out of 10 will go in nicely and leave no bruising or blood. The other 6 hurt the second I stick them in (which tells me this one is going to be a bleeder!) Not a big issue, just pisses me off. Needed to vent, thanks for listening!

On the glutes, I went to a 25g pin and never have any trouble. I think "Durak" even uses a 29g in the quad and loves it. I've been tempted to give that a try sometime. Anyways, pinning is the only time anyone ever says, "Smaller is better."

Pressing down hard with the alcohol swab on the injection site stops bruising. I don't know a remedy for the painful ones though. If you apply a lot of pressure with the swab for about 15 seconds after the shot, even the bleeding ones shouldn't bruise.

That's a good one jpk......I am using a 23 on the glute and have had some problems... have bruises that will hang around for weeks.
Thinking about the thigh.... and going with 25 or 29... sounds really good.
Where is a easy place to order pins....

Bowers, you can get them from AR-R if needed. Also, your clinic should have them too if you're due for a refill anytime soon.
