    Wife just got her RN!

    Well, my wife graduated a few weeks ago from Nursing School. She found out today she passed her NCLEX boards - and she starts her job next month.

    Two years of hell, but hopefully it pays off now

    Hoggage - The last 6 months we have been very close to divorce, but things are looking up now finally. Alot less stress now that schools over, plus alot better financially. Things should fall in place.

    Yeah she actually got 2 jobs, tho she is only taking one. They are starting her out in the ER which is what she wanted. Guess being a paramedic 7 yrs helped her out there.

    Her ultimate goal is to end up being a flight nurse, and work for a Trauma center. We have a great Trauma center about 40 mins away, but she is going to need a few years experience before going there.

    Congrats! That is what I am going to school for now. I am not so much wanting trauma, as much as I want to get into the pathology, and oncology side of things. Either way Nursing school is HARD! Congrats again!

    ER is where its at. I work trauma side in a level 1 trauma center as a RN and I too am waiting for a flight nurse position to open up. She will learn more in the first few months in the ER then the rest of her classmates will in a year.

    Not to mention we had a new baby her first year of school, so she had to miss some days, and juggle a baby all the way thru the program.

    I am hoping we are finally getting back on the right track. For the last 5-6 months it appeared divorce was inevitable. We seen counseling and everything, but now school is over, and things seem to be going well. Life can be tough, hopefully it pays off.
