    New UK 30 YO Lad

    Hi Guys,

Just introducing myself in the forum. Im working to try and get bigger and more defined. I have a tendancy to carry some 'padding' as you can see from my photos. Despite swimming and training in the gym and cycling 18 miles on a wednesday, I still have that problem.

Anyway, I hope I can get some help and advice here.

    Thanks guys.

    Welcome!
I've heard swimmers have a tendency to have more bf% than others with similar cardio.

I suspect you may be right, my personal theory is that swimming is low intensity in many respects but heavy on endurance so could it be that a swimmers body tries to hold onto more fat for energy reseves during long swims? i dont know, maybe im just trying to justify it!
