No pain when injecting???

Today I injected my first shot of testo. It was 1ml of oil solution. I injected in my quadriceps, the outer one, right in the middle between the knee and the hip. I got the needle in to the end (1 inch), it was surely inside my muscle. I felt no pain while sticking it in. I injected slowly and felt no pain at all either. I pulled out. No problems. A little red spot, that's it. I don't feel the spot at all. Is this normal? Could i have done something wrong?

Your fine, the injection itself is usually painless. It's the next 24hours that might bring site pain

i ended up starting my cycle a little earlier than expected. seems that the test e has some site pain, sore. but the test prop, after a day hurts like a mother. jmo
