Do you find that they make a difference for you?
i tried them off cycle and didnt notice anything
I supplements with them daily. I probably take in 300-400% of my daily each day. They absolutely make a difference, especially when it's hot and you are sweating all day. They also seem to give you a boost of energy if you're feeling groggy or run down.
I take 100mgs of vitamin b6 daily...helps maintain protein metabolism.
Whats the difference if I take a multi-vitamin ??
I take a super-b daily on or off. It seems to help with energy and even mood.
How much and how often? You can't just take a bunch in the morning and expect it to do any good. Your body eliminates it through the urine fairly quickly. You need to supplement several times a day. My guess is that the injectables just have a longer half life than the orals.
Most multi vitamins do not have a daily does of all your vitamins, let alone over a daily dose. Remember that daily doses are based on a 2,000 calorie a day diet. Anyone here on a 2,000 calorie a day diet? Didn't think so. If you're on a 4,000 calorie a day diet you need twice the amount of vitamins as a baseline. Add in exertion which depletes vitamins and you need even more. Vitamins like B and C are not fat soluble, so there's no risk in "overdosing" on them. Consequently I don't worry about taking several times your daily dose. It's the same philosophy as eating a lot of protein. Many studies have shown that the body can only assimilate so much protein a day, so is eating more than that a waste? No, because by getting some in at every meal you ensure that when the body can assimilate it has the protein available. The same is true for B vitamins.
