    Supp to keep strength after surgery

    Im wondering if theirs anything worth taking after a surgery to hold onto your muscle while u have to take it easy.

    Im getting a hernia surgery on monday and cant do heavy lifting for about 4 weeks after.

    I was thinking creatine but i was wondering it their is anything better out their?

    You cant supplement a diet mate...

    Wtf is creatine going to do it hydrates your muscles?

    You dont need supplements you need food...

    k i got you, my bad on gettin mad just was pissed bout the surgery, the advice is appreciated

    He's right, and make sure you take in LOTSSSSSS of protein to help reserve some muscle mass.

    Depending on the type of surgery high dosage vitmain c may be required for connective tissue strength...

    Get bcaas, creatine monohyrate and glutamine... keep diet at maintaice or do a keto diet with high fat and high protein as keto is great to preserve muscle.. had a similiar aproach when i broke my leg

    from what ive heard creatine preserves muscles, of course he should be taking no more than 5g a day

    Bingo.

    Take your normal supplements (as long as these don't negatively impact the meds you'll be on post surgery) and stick with solid meals. Food > supplements in terms of maintaining as much muscle as you can. Keep you water intake up to par while cycling with creatine.
