    Alcohol on cycle/body building

From several threads i have seen it looks like having the quiet drink or 2/3/4 is ok every week/fortnight/month.

What DOESNT come up is what would do the LEAST damage?

    beer?

    spirits?

    wine?

If you guys have a drink on the weekend while on cycle or trying to bulk up what do you guys drink???

    cheers.

I don't think it really matters bro. Drinking ard messes me up for a few days at least. I choose to completely abstain but when I used to drink on cycle, they would all do the same thing. Beer would allow me to get back on track faster than hard liquor

Does not matter what you drink it all has alcohol in it. Just drink in moderation. Keep it at the 2/3.

Studies actually show 2 drinks a day will improve health. But I'm sure the participants were not on AAS during the study. Should we do our own study?

hard liquor is actually worse because they use more sugar to process it, I would try and stay with red wine or light beer. A couple drinks here and there is not going to hurt you. I had 2-3 Michelob Ultras probably 2-3 nights/wk while contest dieting and came into the show shredded as hell.

i was thinking beer would be one of the better options, but was worried about the yeast and what not.

Two or three light beer on a Saturday night (if you can keep yourself to that) is fine.

There is only one thing that determines how katabolic/dangerous alcohol is, amd that is amount consumed. If you consume 10g alcohol over one hour it doesn't matter if it's from a few shots of tequila or if you drank a few beers.

The difference you are looking for can only be found in additional ingredients of the liquor. In other words, the "healthiest" is to awoid unneccesary carbs, and thus vodka and other "water&alcohol-only" drinks win the race.

One could though argue that the extra fluids ingested by drinking soft liquor makes it healthier, but this can offcourse be compensated for with a glass of water.

Absolutely incorrect. I don't even know what you could mean by "processing". Liquor is distilled concentrated alcohol. Pure hard liquors have less sugars or carbs than either wine or beer.

I only drink on cycle wheb I am trying to get laid. And even then I drink only enough to make her think I am drinking with her. Then again I have never really liked drinking so it is not a big loss.

There is 55 calories per ounce in hard liquor, if you mix it with water or diet pop us will consume fewer calories. You can actually have 3 drinks for 165 calories. If you opt to beer most light beers have 95 to 110 calories and regular beer around 135-150 calories and of course the Sam Adams types have 180 -250 calories a beer. If you are naturally lean it doesnt really matter, but people like me gain weight on beer or any acohol have to opt for the lowest calorie combo out there. I currently will have 2 couple Bud 55's once a week even while im dieting. Instead of cheat meal I would rather have a couple beers. Bud 55's dont really have a lot of flavor or alcohol and doesnt seem to bother me as much the next day.

It's better to just not drink. If it's at the point where you have to drink garbage like Budweiser and Michelob...whats the point? Just wait until the end of your cycle and then the REAL beer you drink will taste that much better.

Stay motivated and dedicated and stay away from aclohol while your on cycle, why would you want to go 4 steps forward and then take 3 back, get your pleasure from eating and watching your body grow on cycle.

I thought you were going to say "...and watching the classics such as: Predator, Commando, Total Recall and The Terminator"
