You can try the ECA stack. Remember to drink plenty of water and make sure your cardio is HIT for over 20 minutes.

is there a reason 20 or 30 min is the ideal cardio time? I hear this all the time but don't understand the reasoning behind it.

That is not ideal cardio time...it would take your body 20 minutes to get your heart rate up prime your body for a good fat burning sessions...depending n how much fat youre needing to burn 45-60 min would be best.

Agreed with Bigmax. Most people THINK 20-30min is plenty. However, your body takes roughly 20min just to START burning fat. Hence 30min is only 10min of actual fat burning. 45min is ideal and 60min if you enjoy cardio lol. Clen, T3, with a mild over the counter fat burner (timed differently then your clen) is probably your best bet. Cardio first thing in the morning is also best but for some people thats tough to do.

Agreed. 20-30 minutes is insufficient for effective fat burning. It takes 20 minutes to burn out your glycogen and switch over to a fat burning metabolism. If you spend 0-10 minutes in that how much fat do you really think you'll burn? The whole cardio increases your base metabolic rate is BS. You get a two hour bump maybe, but them it settles back to normal. Only additional muscle mass can speed up your base rate.

I'd advise an hour 2-3 times a week. The biggest thing to understand is that it takes time to build cardio endurance. Probably 6-8 weeks to see a real jump in ability. You have to ease into it as well. Right now I'm running for cardio (did 8 miles last week), but it took me two months to get up to that level. When I tried to go from running 3 miles a week to 6 miles a week my body gave me an decisive "no." After speaking with a friend who has competed in 3 marathons I learned that you need to increase much more gradually than that, like a mile a week. Increase for 4 weeks, and then drop back a bit for the fifth week before increasing again. The idea is to cycle upward. Once I incorporated that I started making progress.

As far as drugs or even OTC supplements I'd say stay away. I've taken a lot of that stuff over the years and it worked for a while, but the fat returned once I was off of it. The best way to lose and keep it off is to change your lifestyle so that diet and cadio are a permanent part. Cardio is the best way to lose fat. period.

The first 20 mins (average) is used to burn off the stored energy in the muscles, once thats gone, you start dipping into your reserves (ie, fat)... dont over train with cardio or go too intense or you can catabolise your muscle.

On a side note, the best fat burner is diet.

That's the idea, it has to be OVER 20 minutes. It takes 20 minutes before you are at HIT level. I didnt mean for it to sound like you only need 20-30 minutes.

Thanks for adding and clarifying this, I meant to include that also (catabolise your muscle) but it was late and I was distracted.
