Don't bother with it... check out SpoonWep II under linux. Get the Backtrack live linux boot CD if you don't run linux, it has spoonwep 1 on it.

(pls don't ask me to explain here or in PM... intrusions into WEP protected networks is very illegal)

extremly complicated not for the amateurs you need the right hardware i.e wireless card chipset etc then to choose the right operating system id say personally if you dont already have alot of pc/network knowledge etc would take too much of my spare time and family time as im in the gym 60-90 mins a day go for it if u wanna i find it very interesting just havent got the time of day

Just run linux in a VM.
Its all about the chipset but I would imagine most will say if you plan on doing this get an orinoco card.

buy yourself a netgear usb dongle wg111 from ebay for < $20 and you wont have any issues using aircrack's VM build based on debian
