    Mailing gear FROM the USA...does Customs check outgoing shipments as well?

    Going on a trip abroad and the best option seems to be mailing my stuff to the place I'm going...unless US customs checks outgoing shipments?

    Yes, but they don't check outgoing packages as thoroughly. So it would probably only get caught by customs if it said "steroids" on it. lol
