    Iron Man 3

I never thought the day would come that I walked out of a comic book movie. What a piece of shit movie. Obvious solo pump and dump to get the next avengers out as soon as possible.

I usually go to comic book movies opening night because I am a closet geek. The nerds never talk during a movie. There was a kid behind us that I guess had tourettes or a nervous tick. He kept clearing his throat every 10 seconds. SUPER ANNOYING.

I would never say anything because I feel for the kid but I guess its arguable if a parent should think about other movie goers....

I'm not going to say that the movie was a total loser. But it was wimpy, I'll give you that. It was the least entertaining of the three, and nothing compared to the avengers.

    I didn't like many parts....

    1) Pepper never took her clothes off
    2) IronMan was wimpy
    3) Stark develops an anxiety attack
    4) I didn't really like the lava people, wasn't very well developed. I think the more off the wall a character is in regards to defying the laws of physics and biology, the more you need to explain and develop your character for the character to be believable. There was very little work up of the "lava" people.
    5) Stark rips the powersource/magnet out of his chest. And it's actually quite deep. No explanation how they repaired his sternum, as the operation was apparently a simple "out patient" procedure??

    Anyways, on the positive side,
    1) it was an Iron Man Movie
    2) we get to see some of pepper's leg
    3) we get to see one of Ts's hot ex girlfriends

the list on the positive side seems shorter than on the negative side, doesn't it?

I'd suggest sitting this one out, and wait for it to come to redbox which will only cost you a buck to see it

Funny, I didn't see the first two at the theater. Watched them both when they came out on tv. Hated both. My wife and I were bored today and she had free tix, so we went to see it in 3D. Weird, but I kinda enjoyed it. Sure, it's corny as hell, but for
some reason, I enjoyed it. Go figure. Sorry about the kid behind you. I'm a special ed teacher and would not subject others to the "stuff" I see/hear on a daily basis.

I agree. My nephew was calling them smoke snake people. Lava people sounds more terrifying.

It was my understanding that since he was able to fix pipers lava problem that he used same technology on himself.

it wasn't bad....the only things I didnt like was how they tried to make it comical....some things were funny but lets just have some good action man....
the question I had was if he took it out his chest how would he be in avengers 2?
and did anyone else wait the longest 5 mins ever after the movie was o er to see that crap after the credits? I thought it was at least gonna tie into avengers 2
