Noob sounding question: I've always heard it's important to allow your body 24 hours between workouts, however I find my workouts are more intense since I began TRT and it seems I now need more time to recuperate from the pain before I'm ready to hit the weights again. As a result, I typically wait two days between workouts which allows me to do more reps with more weight. I seem to be getting good gains and my strength is definitely up. Is there anything wrong with this logic or would I get better results just pounding the ibuprofen, sucking it up, and get back at it every other day?
P.S. Yes I'm aware it's common practice to split up your workout, i.e. upper one day and lower the next and hit the gym every day, but that's not what I'm asking.
