    First Go Around

    First off about me - I am a ex baseball player and ex football player - been lifting weight for 6 or 7 years now. Im 24 years old, 6 foot,I exercise regularly, wind sprints, h.i.i.t ect. I have a endomorph body, im not fat but im not shredded or anything. I eat mainly ketogenic diet, say what you want but i feel the best when i eat that way. I am wanting to start my first cycle. I have a vial of teston qv 250 sitting in front of me ready to use. I must add i do a lot of "functional" weight training, gym rings,pull up ects, but i do lift real weight as well. MY first question is what size needle and syringe should i buy? second of all how will keto diet effect my gains? and also will my functional exercises help me at all? no offense but i know guys who can bench 400 pounds but cant do one pull up..im just trying to get as much knowledge about what im already doing to add to what i will be doing.

    welcome to the board you're in the right place. Lets start with your diet because without a proper diet you're cycle won't help you. So if you're on a keto diet you're trying to get lean right? Post up a pic or two and we'll give you a pretty accurate bodyfat estimate. Lets get all this straight before we talk about what size syringe to buy!

    My goals are to put on about 5 pounds of muscle mass and drop about 15 pounds of solid fat in 8 weeks before my brothers wedding. (i was thinking of using along time before the wedding just happen to be in the middle.) i added a new photo to see if this helps you...also by looking at my bone structure do you think the fat on my face will go away and I could a nrmal thin looking face? i can see some fat on it now but i think i can loose it nd look normal, what do you think? but for thr cycle add 5-9 pounds loose 15-20 solid fat

    Ok, test isn't going to magically burn fat off of you. Generally when people use test to cut its at a low dose for 10-12 weeks and is used in a support role to keep the body from burning lean mass, IF your diet is right and with some hard cardio you could loose the 15lbs of fat it would be difficult though. Your body is always in one of 2 states, its growing or its deteriorating. Trying to gain muscle while cutting fat is a difficult balance and is like trying to have a light switch be on and off at the same time. In your case i would commit to cutting. So what do you know about diets? Are you on a specific keto? Atkins? CKD? Do you know how to figure your BMR/TDEE? (base metabolic rate/total daily energy expediture)?

    I am very familiar with diets...I know how to calculate my daily expenditure, I know how to calculate how many calories I should be eating a day etc etc. My diet is not strictly keto but does have a lot of keto variations. I eat low card-high fat meals all day and I stay in ketosis 98% of the time the other 2 when I take in some carbs because i feel likei should every once in awhile. I have no problem using test to lean up, I gain muscle pretty easily anyways or atleast i can get toned very easily. The 9 pounds of muscle are not crucial because if I was to loose the fat I would look bigger then most anyways. What would your plan of action be for me? Thanks for all your help.

    What's your current training and diet (be specific) like?

    Some one with your physique and goals doesn't even need AAS, imo.

    someone with my physique and goals does needs AAS? I that a compliment or a put down, i am asking a serious question, im just not sure what you mean by "someone with your physique" that could mena a lot of things.

    Training is this

    Monday - Gymnastic ring routine-follwed by chest work out with weights
    tuesday- bicep-tricep-shoulder- followed by sprints- 100 yard dashes - 5 of them
    wensday- back
    thursday-legs
    friday- hiit-100 yard dashes.- 5

    Diet- High Fat- Low carb

    breakfeast-maybe 6 scrambled eggs and one cup of cheese cooked in butter
    lunch- 12 ounce beef sirloin steak - broccolie cheese
    diner- 8 oz hamber patty no bun, pepperjack cheese mustard, mayo
    our a chicken breast cooked in olive oil and butter mixed with alfredo-parmessan cheese

    my carbs are very low - around 20grams a day. protein is 1/1 fat is very high..like i said i love the way i feel when i ear like this is feel lean, not bloated, i drink 1 gallon of water daily and take creatine alpha ketogulate and fish oil.

    What d7m means is that most people of the more knoweledgable people on this board believe in achieving or at least comming close to your bodies natural potential before using AAS to take you beyond. If you're eating 3 times a day you're not even comming close to what you can achieve, You're body goes into a catabolic state after about 4 hours without eating. Basically you're body thinks your starving and our human body is designed to hold fat in this state, so in order to keep our bodies anabolic we eat every 3-4 hours so your body doesn't see the need to store fat and doesn't slow your metabolism. If you learn how to eat right you'll have no problem putting on lean muscle and shedding fat

    ok...i do eat a lot..atleast 5 times a day..i am wanting to start my first cycle, can you tell me what size needles and what kind od syringe to use please? also the least amount of doseage needed for results from teston qv 250? Thanks again.

    i use 23g 1 1/2 inch. but like they said befor you need a good diet or aas will not help. also do you have a pct yet? and maybe an ai on hand? for my first cycle i used 500mgs a week of test e for 10 weeks than 14 days off than did a 4 week pct of clomid and nolva

    Just in case no one with a lot more knowlege gets back to this thread,

    Keep in mind by doing a Test cycle (reccomended 1st cycle) with everything as is I feel you would be very likely to look bigger, fatter and more bloated 8 wks from today.

    As stated you can achieve what you are seeking without AAS particularly the 8 week goal, however with or without test you will need to incorporate at least 3 1 hour cardio seasons into your routine. Fasted cardio meaning first thing in the morning before any eating will by far be the most effective fat burner. If you do this with no other changes 5 times a week I gaurandamntee (country grammer sorry) you will loose a lot of fat by the wedding and have that cut look you are seeking. If you do decide to do Test in addition I would recommend a short ester TestP as a long ester will not have enough time to establish itself till about half of your 8 wks is used up ( I just remembered you have the Teston [at least its got a little prop in it] so this is probably not an option but at least you know the ins and outs now if you did not already). The down side to the TestP is that you will want to inject it at least every 2nd day with daily injections being the norm.

    As far as needles the 1.5" is for your glute generally a 1" is used for other sites, look up intramuscular injection techniques, there are several youtube videos that will be helpful if you are new to this.

    Good luck and remember cardio is king for cutting, and the first 20 minutes of cardio don't do jack so do your cardio at a pace that allows you a full hour for best results.

    PS The other thing that is key for cutting is diet, eat 6-8 times a day as stated the message to the body is no need to store fat food is right around the corner. Also another approach many feel is important is to separate any carb meals from fat intake since fat is burned in a low glycogen environment and stored as fat in a high glycogen environment, also try to only have protien and carbs available during heavy workouts IE surround your heavy workouts with carbs to prevent consumption of muscle.

    Last addition, I am no diet expert by any means but it seems like your fat intake may be a little high even for a CKD style of eating, anyone with real knowlege please feel free to either agree or tell me I am looking through a belly button window.

    I've been persuading you to not cycle and try a more natural approach first. You'll be more happy with your results if you drop some bodyfat first and build some mass on your own. That being said I'm not going to be the one to tell you how to cycle or what size pins to buy. I will however tell you that you that there is a search button on this forum and all the answers you seek can be found rather quickly using it. Best of luck bro!

    so you thinki have th egenetics to accomplisg what i want to do on my own without the use of aas roids? ifs thats the case then i thank you can i think i will stay awat from the drugs for now.

    If your goal is to lose 15lbs of fat and gain 5lbs of muscle, I would personally stay away from test. I know you are a fat of your diet now, but I would suggest a change to obtain your goals.

    The lower bf% you have the leaner/muscular you will look. You would be surprised what you would look like dropping the bf some. I would say you are at least 20 from the pics (no insult)...the "fat" you carry in your face will go when you start to lose the pounds. When I bulk I notice my face getting fatter and the opposite when I cut.

    Do you happen do drink a lot of milk? I find the more milk I drink the more bloated I look.

    If your heart is set on doing a cycle, 1.5 x 23 guage for glutes and 1x23 guage for anywhere else. Google "How to inject" and you will find more info than you need and will learn safe proper techniques.

    How much bf can one expect to loose a month on average? Around 1.5 to 2 percent? I think I have the genetics to have a nice body but my diet is killing me. I live I la and every night is a drunken free for all. What do you think by my pictures could I have a nice body with hard work?

    I'm no expert, but i think 2lbs of fat per week is about all you can do....if the scale goes lower you will be dropping water and muscle....make sure your diet is in check for your cut. I do a 40/40/20 (Carbs/Protein/Fats) when I cut, but I am not carb sensitive either.....meal timing is essential as well.

    Yes!

    That is all I meant by my above comment.

    You don't need drugs. You need diet and hard work.

    Even if you took AAS now, you wouldn't get the body you wanted without putting in ALOT of effort.

    Head over to the diet section, and get started.

    And if you are serious about your goals, cut back on the partying.
