    Wrist pain when squatting

    Hey guys,
Sometimes when I squat with heavy weights I'm having pain in the wrist whether
I'm using wide grip or close grip.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem?

Sometimes the pain persists for an hour after a workout...

Wrist wraps is one thing i have invested in due to wrist issues also. Spent almost 6 months out due to pain in my wrist. I have not received my wraps yet though which im really angry about.

Squatting was never really the issue with my wrist, was things like barbell curls, wrist curls, ez overhead bar for my triceps. List goes on. If pain persists go get it checked out.

My wrists used to bother me too, when squatting. I started holding the collars of the bar, rather than the bar itself. I found this worked for me. I think some of it has to do with flexibilty, if I hold onto the bar I can't get my elbows forward and this puts strain on my wrists and also hunches my back forward.
