Sounds really high to me, but I don't know much about your situation, like how much t your are on, why they say you need that much hcg (if they did), what your bw numbers look like, past aas usage and so on.

I am 49 and considered going on TRT as I had symptoms of low testosterone for a long time.

Low energy, grumpiness, lose of muscles, increase of body fat

I had bw done and my test levels were low that‘s why I got in touch with a clinic.

they put me on testo C 220mg / week … 2 x 500 I.U HCG/ week ..
3 mg arimidex / week and 50mg Anavar/day for 8 weeks.


I was on it for 6 week before I did another bw.

My bw came back with very high elevated liver values and high test values

Liver: AST 90 / ALT 159
Total test 1500
Free test 63

I was not so happy with this clinic as they told me before I started the therapy
that they would add anavar to the mix to lower my liver values which were before I started trt : AST 39 (6-35). I also had my bw done at there online lab and it took them almost
four weeks to get the values back to me. I even had to call them up.. It almost seemed
to me as if they didn‘t want to give me the results.

Anyway that’s why I got in touch with another clinic.

I send them my bw and they told me to stop the therapy immediately for at
least four weeks because of the high liver values.

I stopped for five weeks and did proper PCT with clomid
After five weeks I did bw again and liver values were fine again.

total testo 398
free testo 5.3
AST 39 (0-40)

Right now I am not on TRT as the new clinic wants to put me on
2 x 1500 UI HCG for three weeks ( with no AI) to get my natural testo level back
and consider to get me back on trt after this time together with 2 x 1500 UI a week
for 10 weeks.

I myself can not see a reason for that high amount of hcg ?

Here is part of the email I got from the clinic.

Please make sure you do the very heavy dosage for the next 3 weeks of hCG, you need it very badly based on your blood test. It would not be a bad thing to follow the same heavy dosage during your 10 week protocol to get your system back operating on its own.

Without knowing more about your situation wecker it sounds like a pretty high dose of hcg! How long have you been on trt/hrt? Why? Goals, etc. Testo and AI dose and frequency, etc. The more info you provide the more meaningful feedback you can get. Good Luck!

Ask your clinic about whether they have any concerns regarding potential desensitization of your sertoli cells at that high dose for such a long time.

good point.. i have read some things suggesting that running it at high doses for long times can cause problems.. but it was in a much higher and longer range than what you are stating.. i ran 500iu for ten weeks to prevent testiculat atrophy and was fine at that dose, but i suppose if i had just done 3000iu (as you will be doing) that i would have just had abnormally larger balls. I can't see any major harm in doing it as they suggested, but it is on the high side.

I agree that high of a dose can be damaging.. i was doing super high doses early last year due to listening to a dumb doc.. however I think even if he went with that dosage as long as there is a taper down he should be fine..
