    Kids with Cancer Charity fundraiser... The One Lap of America Charity

    So some of you may have heard me talking about running the One Lap of America next season... http://www.onelapofamerica.com/home.shtml
    In 2010, a couple of friends of mine took a 2008 Evo X, slightly modified and ran the event and their choice of charity is the Kids With Cancer Society. Obviously there to aid in the funding of research to help children with Cancer. They raised almost $70,000 in the short time they had to do fundraising...

    This year all 3 of us will be running our own privately funded cars (all Evo X's) with a combined goal of $100,000

    Here are some links to each of the cars builds. I just purchased mine so I have to do a lot of work to get it ready for May.

    AMS of Chicago did most of the work on the 2 white cars, I will doing the majority of work on mine.

    The 2nd entry, built for 900hp on a 2.2L stroked 4B11T... currently tuned for a moddest 600hp


    This was me track tuning the original car @ Stratotech Int'l Raceway



    I just picked my car up 2 weeks ago, started ordering parts for it already but its a long way from Time Attack ready

    Looks like a great way to have fun and do some good in the world. Keep the thread updated with the mods as you do em. That car looks like it would be fun in the snow.

    I have the winters being mounted today... so much snow in Edmonton, it sat on my driveway for 2 weeks until the roads were clear enough to drive it on the stock Summer performance tires... wild ride
