Not being able to see a doc does make things tricky. I am in no way a doc but I had something similar happen to me a few months back and I had a rotator cuff strain. Yours sounds like either a severe strain or a tear. Either way not good but hope for the strain as that does not require surgery.
What you can try and do is heat on the areo if you have a heating pad. Also start with some light exercises to try and get that range back. I think your range is around 25% right now maybe less.
Lay down on your back and bend your arms to wear they form an "L" shape with your fists at your forehead. Get someone to cuff thier hands over yours and then you push towards and up to them while they apply some resistance. Push as far as you can until you feel pain. It may take a couple of weeks but do this 6 times a day and by two weeks if there is no improovment then I think you may have a tear.
