Keep in mind that your body can have fluctuations based on many factors that could affect a blood test of hormone levels. You could have eaten something different right before the test or if you fasted you could have the night before. Stress, workouts and other things can affect it as well. The HCG or something else if you took it could defintely have some lasting effects on your system. HCG is prescribed for female and male fertility as well.
Why did you get on TRT in the first place? What I usually offer up is to get multiple blood tests over a 2-3 month period and 1. If they are consistely low, you can consider TRT 2. If they are consistently in a 'normal' and good range for you, then you can hold off and get your blood drawn over periods of time to revisit if you then need therapy.
Other things that could affect how you are feeling and what you are describing are:
- Estrogen levels
- Cortisol levels
- Free Testosterone
- SHBG
