Yes these are common beliefs. The thing is that most people are waiting for the half life of 500mg or so of Test E to clear. If there's more mg, naturally it will take longer. From people I've listened to and supposedly according to endocrinologists and studies; even a low level of exogenous Test will prevent your body from producing natural Testosterone again.
I just don't want to spin my wheels thinking I'm PCT'ing when I'm still actually suppressed. I wonder why no one ever asks these questions.
I mean you could say, 2 weeks and just go with it, but do you know for sure? Using half life formula driven software, I plotted the time for PCT at 26 days, just hoping it isn't accurate.
Is time on always equal to time off? I mean maybe for health reasons, but I would think as soon as your natural test came back it might be OK to start again. As in 4 months on, 2 months off, then back on? I mean pros just stay on all year round, but I wanted to keep my natural test at least for now while I'm young.
