Wake up 7:30 - porridge scots oats - 2% milk with Jam for flav
There is no protein source, drop the milk and jam. Too much sugar in both, and unnecessary fat in milk. Example of a breakfast should be:
6 Egg White 22/1.2/0 102 cals
1/2 cup Oatmeal 5/27/3 150 cals
1 tbdp Peanut Butter 4/3/8 95 cals
Total: 31/31/11 347 cals
10:00 - smoothie with mixed fruit , cooked chicken breast and salad
I would eliminate the smoothie, seems like a lot carbs. I would stick with 8oz chicken, brown rice and some veggies.
1:00- baguette prawn and mixed salad ( limited coz im at college )
If you can pack your own lunch: Lean protein source with good carbs and good fat
3:00 - 1 Banana , Protien shake .. low cals - 60 grams protien
Is this your PWO? PWO shake with Banana...I would replace banana with oats, 1/2 cup, 1 cup depends on how much carbs you had/going to consume. PWO shake should be whey protein
7:00 -Cooked dinner - lean steak , new potatoes mixed veg and gravy
Good I see lean steak! Drop the potatoes and replace with sweet potatoes,brown rice,etc. NO GRAVY
8:00 - tall glass orange juice and protien bar .. 50 grams protien low cals
Drop this whole meal, orange juice has too much sugar, and protein bar isn't the best IMO.Instead I would eat again around 9:30-10:00. Consume casein protein, via shake, or cottage cheese, greek yogurt. Lo in fat as well. 40-50g Protein source..
This is what Iv eaten to day .. never been to good with diets I do train hard and make sure I rest properly
Work out 4 days a week ... pyarmid training with drops sets atm
avergage work out is around 1 n half hours
lift for around 70 min - 20 min cardio
working 2 muscles per session
work out on tuesdays , thursdays , sat and sun always work out at 3 in the afternoon
.. lookin to try wake up and do cardio before breakfast on my days off .. any ideas on protien , carbs and cals I should be aiming for
I wana start this cycle in a month once my diet is right and in a routine
