same with me my body gets use to them to quickly so ive given up on having a good pump, the only thing close to having a nice pump all the time was mri no2 pills but only the "platium" or whatever the no2 black makes people break so i hear. but thats been the best one ive found so far.

I know how some of us blokes like to fudge the numbers a bit....
    two schools of thought:
    1) if the default is cold AM, then when discussing, there will be some blokes that will measure at a different time
    2) if the default is at Max Pump, then I suspect there would be less fudging, since only measure at optimal measurement time.

Plus you blokes like the bigger numbers anyways?

Just wondering because I measure legs, waist, shoulders etc. every 12 weeks to track progress, and biceps definitely make more of a difference flexed than other body parts. For example, mine are about 15 3/4 unflexed but 17 1/2 flexed. So I measure both ways. Use unflexed for the body proportion calculations and flexed when asked how big my arm is?

This article has a proportion calculator and talks about how Steve Reeves used proportions to get a "Grecian ideal" physique.
So in this article when it talks about Steve Reeves having 18.5" arms it means unflexed right?
Whereas when Arnold says his arms are 22" he means flexed?
Glad this thread came up, because I've always wondered about the whole pumped, flexed measure thing.
