nolva alone?

this is my first cycle and about to start 500 mg test e once a weekf for 12 weeks. I am just curious if nolvadex alone as a pct would suffice or if it is a must to run clomid after cycle as well. I know it is recommended but is it essential? If it is then I will hold off cycle until I am able to get some. atm doesn't seem I can find any which sucks.

Actually it seems that running Nolva is recommended over Clomid these days. Dosing runs from as little as 20mg/day for 3-4 weeks and up. This is what I'll be doing for PCT.

What's wrong with running HCG on cycle every 3.5 days and running Clomid AND Nolvadex for PCT?

Clomid 100mg/100mg/50mg/50mg
Nolvadex 20mg/20mg/20mg/20mg

Im not hating on HCG at all. I am just curious if running nolvadex alone is dangerous b/c I am not able to find any clomid atm. I understand what the clomid does but wont everything return to normal on its own given a few weeks on just nolva? Or is this a horrible idea and I would forever have problems from not using the clomid?

Tamox alone will suffice.

20mg/ED for 6 weeks, 40mg/ED first 7 days.

Ok thanks a lot swifto. If I were to get ahold of arimidex instead of tamox would dosage be about the same? 40mg/ed day 1-7 then 20mg/ed for 6 weeks?
