I've read a lot of stuff about IGF and cancer. Cancer cells multiply very quickly because the cancer produce IGF like compound which grows the tumor cells. Naturally, the though is that if the cancer if producing IGF like cells then adding IGF to the body must induce cancer growth. The difference is that the cancer created IGF cell INSIDE the tumor. Our IGF use put the IGF OUTSIDE the tumor. There is no definitive study, that I've read, that relates the IGF on the OUTSIDE with tumor growth. That might be splitting hairs. If I had a cancerous tumor I wouldn't take IGF.

Hmm, well the only person in my family who got cancer was my grandmother but she smoked and consumed alcohol a lot and she died at 54. Is it risky for a 21 year old from this perspective or is the risk much greater say in your forties?

My father died of cancer, my aunt died of cancer, and my grand mother died of cancer. I'm really a high risk candidate for cancer. IMHO, I think much of the cancer today comes do to our our lifestyle. Very little exercise, too much processed foods, unbelievable strong herbicides and pesticides on our plants, general higher levels of stress, too much preservatives in our foods, too much sugars in our soft drinks, etc. Our bodies are miraculous pieces of machinery. It can fight off all sorts of stuff for a long time. It just can't do it forever. I think it's probably a higher risk of a 40 something getting over 20 something. Even though I'm probably a very high risk cancer victim I don't worry about it right now. I eat really healthy, I cycle AAS safely to the best of my knowledge, I try to live a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy a really high quality of life. If I get cancer, I'll deal with it at that time. I want to live my life to its fullest while I have the chance. If it's my time to go, I'll go.
