Steroid drug testing

First off great site., and great information. I have been a lurker for a while. I have used alot of advice gained off here. But my question is I am a pipeline controller/operator. I just received a cycle of test 250, dbol, and winstrol. I am subject to a dot drug test under PHSMA. Will any of this show up on drug
Test. Just a little worried about it. It's a great job and great pay.

So are you saying you are on right now? Usually the tests are for searching other compounds not steroids. If you are going to be tested and you have not started your cycle yet then done and wait till its over.

Usually they only test for recreational drugs. You should be fine, but I would check and see what your drug testing policy is. For instance I am not allowed to eat poppy seeds because it shows up on our drug test and I had to sign something stating if I do eat poppy seeds it will show up as a drug and I could be fired.

It wont happen man. They wont test you for gear, just keep it hush hush at work about everything and you should be good to go.

I dont think ull have to worry. They should only be testing for weed, cocaine, all street drugs...roid tests are pretty expensive and i doubt they are going to test you for that....highly unlikely

drug test for steroids costs like 400 bucks.. no one wants to pay that for every employ.. they only test for recreational drugs

Federal government guidelines (by SAMHSA-the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) require that companies which use commercial class drivers licenses for employees must have a testing system in place. Among other things, this required testing program must test for 5 specific categories of drugs (referred to as the "SAMHSA 5", previously called the "NIDA-5"). Because of this federal requirement, most drug testing companies offer a basic drug test that checks for drugs in these 5 common categories. Click on the substance name for a description of the laboratory method for detecting the substance.

Id list the 5 categories but I know the site has a strict drug policy. Steriods are not part of the 5 or on the extended test either.

you will likely be subject to a urine sample which costs the company about 10$. Steriod testing is a different test looking for completely different set of metabolites and hormone levels and costs $400 to 500 per sample.


Companies are looking to see if a driver, a cop, or pipeline operators is taking mind alerting drugs that will impair your judgement on the job. (I am not trying to open a can or worms about how gear can change your thought process or give roid rage etc...but I'd say its fair to say a meth-head wouldnt be best suited in a critical job when compared to a fellow juice-head lol

If you were a division 1 or Olympic athlete , I would be worried. Otherwise you should be ok.

Just curious who I work for tests for steriods they are random tests. I was looking at andro forte 5 percent cream which is testosterone cream if used in 50 milligrams or under would this cause you to fail a steriod test thanks in advance
