    Help with needle size

    I've read about people recommending 2" needles... is this really necessary?
    When I look at the sponsor's site above they just have 1" and 1.5". Shouldn't this be enough? At my local pharmacy anything other than the insulin needles (1") requires a prescription.

    hells no to the 2" pin.

    1.5 for glutes, and 1" everywhere else is what I do.

    dude thats what I figured. Why on earth would anyone use 2"?

    1 to 1.5 inch is fine.

    I've always used 25g 1" for everything, never had an issue and I've pinned everything except ventro and calves. If your trying to jump start your heart then stick with the 2". LOL

    Using 25G1" for quads. Almost no fat there, so 1" is more than enough length. Really, I don't usually pin all the way to the base of the 1" needle on my quads. Maybe would use 1.5" for glutes as there is some more fat back there.

    Oh man 1.5" is scary enouph haha 2" is large! I use 1" 25g in my quads and its does the trick....as long as your in the muscle it doesnt matter and unless you 20% plus bodyfat theres no way that your not hitting muscle 1" deep. I started with 1.5" but I kept gowing threw nerves so I went to 1" and it works just as well.

    First cycle I did I had 21g needles haha didnt know any better...asked the slerk for needles and that what they gave me lol Might as well have stabed my self with knife and poored it right in my leg haha no more 21's for me!

    1" and 1.5" is all you will need.

    I use 25g 3/4" and they work just fine. I use pecs, delt and glutes mainly.
