twitching can sometimes be confused for muscle spasms. If a muscle spasm is the case (for example after a shoulder workout) then an adhesion will form. These adhesions inhibit muscle flexibility and ROM. Doesn't sound like what you have haz but I get spasms in my shoulders all the time. Cuts off bloodflow and causes my arms to go numb all the time. Stretching and deep tissue massage really really helps. Can actually bring you back to normal. If you pinched a nerve in your shoulder and an adhesion (or maybe an oil ball) is pressing the nerve, you could try to massage that area out. try to locate little balls or knots in the muscles and knead them out; as if you were kneading bread with a rolling pin
