Aas causing my bladder to be equalvalent to an old man's bladder?

I started cycling roughly 5 years ago. About maybe 2 years ago, i began having frequent urination during the day and especially at night while sleeping (maybe just because its more bothersome). I have a few questions:
    1. Does anybody else experience these while cycling or since they've cycled?
    2. Is this more then likely caused by an enlarged prostate?
    3. What would be the best remedy or treatment?
    4. If Ignored, could this cause any health issues?
    5. Am i asking too many questions?

This truthfully wouldnt make me concerned enough to even ask about this because ive learned to deal with most if not all aas induced side effects. Its just that my sleep is being greatly affected because i feel its been i interupting my much needed REM sleep and i feel like its really started taking a toll on my body. Not sure why i feel that way because ive been really making some great gains lately. Any assistance or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

you have to get your prostate checked out yung. That would be the cause of the frequency and also a side effect of aas is problems with the prostate

Would you guys consider this matter urgent...given the length of time ive ignored it?

No songdog, orals have never been my thing.

Would this be a side effect that would possibly disappear after stopping the use of gear?

Well, what compounds are you currently using?
And yeah, it sounds like BPH, assuming you don't have any other weird accompanying side effects.

I had the same problem when I was on cycle and continued after cycle which led me to worry about prostate issues just like you although I found the problem was due to anxiety/panic issues. This is due to sensitivity to nerves and the bodies senses. I think a lot of aas users pay so much attention to the body that it causes our senses to become way over exaggerated. Not saying that all this is the case for you, its just my 2 cents.

Get an annual physical (you should be doing this even if you're not on the juice). It could be many things or nothing. There is no point in speculating here and anything we come up with will just make you paranoid about it. So just get looked at and have some bloodwork done.

Agreed with all the above. Get it checked out but it also might be as simple as you drink a lot more water now. I now I drink 10x what I use to so of course I pee more.

Thanks everyone. Byts, you might be right in this case. Im so paranoid about hurting my body that ive increased my water intake by alot. Hell, yesterday i even bought a large pack of water and a Brita water filtration system.

Its not like i dribble when i urinate and pee out an ounce after sitting there for 5 minutes. When i go its alot...

Regardless, i'll still make an appt to get it checked out asap. That will be the only way to tell.

    Thanks again everyone.

That Brita stuff is great. I've saved a fortune in bottled water by getting one of those pitchers. That might be your smoking gun (drinking a shitload of water).

I have the same issue man...Had my checked out years ago, I have a larger than normal prostate as it is. Everything checked out fine with me....I had one of my good buddies who is a fairly well known trainer. He claims a lot of it is do to with the high intake of protein and supplements. Your body can only absorb so much of it...

    What is BPH Bonaparte?

Is this what you're talking about?

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (or hypertrophy), an enlargement of the prostate gland common in elderly men.

I have the same problem and got an ultrasound on my bladder and everything checked ok. Then I got a blood test to see if it is a UTI, everything was ok too.

The final step is a prostate exam which I have yet to schedule.

Do you dribble after you urinate? Either way, be sure to post up your results with the doc.

Yeah if you have no dribble, you still pee a good heavy solid stream and dont feel pressure when you pee it's probably nothing but it's good to be sure. PLEASE dong forget to update the post when you find out. I HATE post that have no resolution.

I noticed the same thing with test injections. Just takes me a little longer to pee. Doc says nothing to worry about, just a side effect, not permanent.

Im sure theres some association here with aas, many people report this happening when running tren. Im sure theres not many medical studies on this but im sure tren and maybe other compounds cause enlargement of the prostrate which in most cases in temporary...
Do not ask me for a source check.

Certainly. Anything that binds to the AR has the potential to swell your prostate if you are prone to it.
