Confused. He currently doesn't use PCT when he cycles? And, he has already been on for 12 weeks and is going to start "another" cycle (sounds like just a continuation of current cycle to me). If these two things are true, he should come here himself and do a lot of reading.

Sorry, its my lack of knowledge becoming apparent here, not his. He's been using pct but i think its tamoxifen(?) an somet else, hasnt started hcg yet or clomid. Tbh i dont need t know the ins an outs, just how long it takes for sperm count to return to normal levels and if they improve chance of conception. Cheers for reply

I finished a 12 week cycle August of last year, did 4 weeks of pct (clomid and nolvadex, aka tamoxifen), and had the wife knocked up in January.

Make sure he goes for bloodwork and a sperm analysis after his PCT. Better to know right away if things are normal, or if there's a potential problem. Good luck!

If you are aiming for kids he should not be cycling. Conceiving while cycling may be OK and fine for many, but to me it sounds very selfish, while cycling and until he recovers his sperm are weakened....if you want a kid, you want the best sperm with the best egg

    Welcome Sig!

Agree with Gbrice, he should have blood/sperm checked. Sperm motility is just as important as count, so if is going to cycle, he should have all the facts. and also agree with Slimmer it would be a good idea for him to sign up and do some reading/asking too.

    Cheers!
