    Cloudy Deca

    Hey Gang-

Is it safe to use my deca if it's a little cloudy. It's uniform, not completely cloudy.. can still see through it a little. Thoughts?

Really hard to say, cloudy indicates poor manufacture. Usually water has mixed with the ingrediants from using a water bath. While some water in itself may not be dangerous it certainly points to poor manufacture so who knows what other mistakes/shortcuts may have been taken. Crystals on the other hand are usually the result of either insufficient solvents or cold storage causing crashing but cloudy is usually poor manufacture. IMHO

Was it cloudy when you recieved it? If anything (oil based at least, suspensions are a different animal) I made ever had any cloudiness I would never consider giving or selling it to another person, it would straight to the trash can.

It was a little cloudy when I got it, yeah. Pretty sure it's oil based right?

Yes Deca is for sure oil based, if you know others who have used the stuff you could make a fairly good guess based on their experience but for me to try to tell you based on description or appearence would not be realistic.

Sorry I can not be more help or give you a more uplifting reply.
