Quick story: I got laid of from a job I loved back in march. Spiraled out for a few months afterwords wallowing. The wallowing concluded after a night of drinking when I fell backwards and severely dislocated my shoulder. I went to the ER had it put back it; later the mri showed some minor tears.
Afterwords I felt like I went from being right handed to being left handed. I had no confidence in the arm. My surgeon recommended rehab only; I insisted on surgery. Thank god I did because the surgery revealed a lot more damage than the mri.
After surgery, a month of a sling, months of rehab, and tons of pain medication; I am finally getting back to lifting.
Does anyone have experience getting back into bodybuilding post shoulder surgery?
