Hrt in norcal?? new to this site

    Hi All

I usally post on another site (same screen name). But I have been reading here for a bit.
It seems most of you here take less test and more hgc with dhea.

I was on cyp 300 e5d. The day after 250hgc and anastrozole 1 mg. nothing else.
to be honest i gave it a try for a while, but i had problems. Didnt feel well so i stoped. Did some blood tests and found out that my thyroid was out again. My pcp and I are getting the thyroid back on track, we Added cytomel to synthroid.

My pcp will not do test nor will my insurance cover it.

I tryed going to a local Dr for treatment, but it was 1020.00 to walk in the door 625.00 for all blood tests and 395.00 for the consult. then 120.00 per month for test no hgc or ai thats extra.

Is there anyone i can work with that will not cost a arm and a leg??? i am in nor-cal

    thanks

ps-you guys have a great site lots of good info here!!!

300 mgs e5d, 250 iu hCG AFTER the shot and 1 mgs AI?!!! thats the most ridiculous protocol I've seen yet! thats probably why you felt like shit, i bet your e2 was through the roof. your doc didn't understand what was going on so he took you off the test, which probably made matters worse. unfortunately its hard to find good docs unless they are referred to you. clinic are very expensive unfortunately but there are some who are reasonable. do some search and call as many as you can until you find a decent one then go from there.

Sorry let me make this a little clearer 300mgs e5d, then the next day 250iu hgc and 1 mgs. hope that is alittle clearer.
I was reading one of your posts and the 60-100 twice a week with 250iu eod or 3 times a week and 1mg per 100mg of test seemed like a much better way to start.

I really need to find a Dr who understands low thyroid with trt/hrt.

thats what i understood! still thats like 450 mgs test ew with one time 250 iu hCG and 1 mg AI! the AI and hCG are useless for that dose, 450 mgs ew is a semi heavy steroid cycle. i hope you do find a good doctor so you are taken care of. best of luck to you.

Thanks bass, Im am glad i found this site. What i was prescribed sounded heavy to me.
I will keep looking around, The one Dr who seemed to know what he was talking about is very costly to start.
The Dr stated 3-4 dr visits with labs in the first year, then after you are dialed in once a year.

    thanks

If you can be proactive and do some leg work a TRT clinic may work for you. Probably 1000-1500 a year for basic TRT protocol.

I have a good doc in the Sacramento area that shouldn't be too expensive (not associated with any life extension etc...) assuming your TRT need is legit. PM me and I will pass along the info.

    Good luck.

Also, there is a compounding pharmacy in Folsom, CA that has some HRT referrals listed on their website.
