    Protein and other supplements Q's

    hey peeps,

i've just finished off my 3rd max's supersize protein and was looking into getting some low carb protein for my cutting phase. I really have no idea what good brands there are out there and don't really want to get jipped (like i did with MAX's), any clues guys? i've been asking around the gym but id like some more feedback from you guys too.

Im weighing in at 76 kgs, average build, tall, probably around 15-18% BF.

    cheers

well im willing to pay for what i get so if it's something that's worth getting then yeah sure. I'll have a look into that one.

Also i have some Max's Cre8 carnage creatine. Is it usually okay to take creatine during a cutting phase or will the water retention just fatten me up?

Isopure has no sugar... So ya its good.. Well creatine may retain water.. Did u try it before?

I would go with isopure. Get it in the 7.5 lb and it's only about 80.00 and will last you a while 2-3 months. Not horrible pricing IMO

Just get a name brand whey concentrate and dont give it a second thought. If you look arounbd you can find great deals. The last one i got was Sportpharma JustWhey , 5lbs for $22/us . If I cant find a good deal on a whey conc i order a blend called Team Skip but if outside the US I think shipping would kill you.
Dont think a more expensive or even better quality (isolate / concentrate ,etc) protein will yield better results - it wont. As far as carbs the diff between isolate and concentrate is 2 grams of carbs - essentially nothing.

But dont forget theress different qualities... However, anything over 55$ for less than 70 servings is ripoff. Assuming a serving is about 24g of protein... Feel free to correct me if im wrong..

Since i dont compete for now, i dont mind the extra carbs found in a concentrate whey based protein...
