Any one use's the Akins Diet

Just wondering if Any one uses the Akins Diet basically below 20g of carbs a day ..

Ive been on it as best i can for a few months now with mixed results ..
I have lost about 15kg thou i lost a lot in the 1st month and then bugger all in the following.
Its a very slow and painful prosses..
Ive been riding up to 40km a day and spending upto 3hrs in the gym.

I used it many years ago. Suffice it to say it's far from ideal for a person who regularly weight trains. I lost a lot of LBM, strength, and just generally felt like garbage.

Assuming you train, there are much better alternative keto diets than Atkins. Do a search here for Dave Palumbo (google him also). You can also check out TOP's thread on CKD here http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...t#.Tuivo7KBrBI

I did the power protein for awhile and the bodyopus. They were hard for me but affective at pulling the fat out of places I couldn't get it to come off of otherwise.

Yeah thats the diet i have been on and off for a few months now ..
It dose work but its also a pain in the ass at the same time..
You are pretty much cooking 3 or 4 meals a day ..
After a few weeks the thought of a nice juicy steak makes ya want to chuck up ..
Ive been having protein powder for breakfast and morning tea instead of bacon and eggs,
the only trouble is you cant have it with milk you have to 1 have pure isolate with no additives and 2 have to drink it with water which smells and tastes like vomit.

There are several ways to skin a cat, if You post your stats, pictures and desired goals we could help suggest something you'd be more likely to stick with and accomplish the same results.
