    Damn Red Acne Spots

I have these little red spots all over my shoulders and shoulder blades. What kind of acne is this? I've had it for about 8 months now. I've been taking b5 and using acne wash on it. Just started using dish soap today.. I also use the tanning bed about twice a week. Take anywhere from 2-4 showers a day. This acne is weird.. I don't have white heads or bumps on the skin, it's just flat red spots that never surface. No pain either. Anyone have any experience with something like this??

Camera doesn't really do much justice.. They are darker in color than they appear. I don't even wear tank tops or cut off shirts anymore.. Sucks!

    What kind did you use.

I have the same problem and had to nix my tank tops I find the acne unsightly. The toothpaste thing did not work. You said you used dish soap, was it a specific kind or any?

Yes try benzyl peroxide. It kills the bacteria in your pores.

Try mandelic acid, kills bacteria as well as keeps your skin hydrated and will get rid of red spots...

try 'm2' mandelic acid ! If I ever get a pimples... I squeeze it (I can't help myself) I get a red mark in 3 days it is gone.

2-4 showers a day and washing with dish soap? How dry is your skin? I know some red rash conditions can be caused by dry skin but can't tell by photo, if its acne try accutane.
