Man was that easy. I thought it was going to take longer to draw up than it did. It took about a minute. It took me longer injecting than drawing it up. The plunger is harder to press than a 25 gauge Im, but pain free.

This is how I am thinking of doing my shots. I have never done an IM shot but used to do SQ shots a few years ago when I was using HGH. There are so many mixed views on putting Test into the body via SQ but Bass on here put a very interesting link about how it will and does work via SQ so when it comes to me doing my shots I think I will choose the option of SQ as I dont know if I have the balls to put a rather large pin in my delt or buttock!
Glad it went well though mate.
Yeh ive been thinking of going sub q myself.. On my script from my doc the instructions actually say IM or sub q ... I like the 25g 5/8".. Do yall think itd be ok to use it for sub Q ????
Mine was 30. It takes a minute to do which is good cause it kept me from doing it to fast.Originally Posted by --->>405<<---
You can use any needle you want for sub Q, its a matter of injecting into the adipose tissue rather than going deeper into the muscle, I suppose you could use a 2 inch 18 guage needle if you inject into the fat layer. I use 28 ga. 1/2 inch for sub Q test injections.
I tried doing subq shots this week. Maybe it's because I have very little fat on my abdomen, but I had just a little test leak out both shots. I inject 70mg (35 units on a slin syringe) 2x a week. I also have a knot from my first shot. This could be because of the speed I injected at (I injected very slow though). I'm going to switch back to IM for the time being, at least until the knot dissipates, then I'll re-evaluate from there. I think successful subq injections are dependent on the amount of fat you are injecting into and/or the amount you are injecting. This is of course, from my personal experience.
Also, are there actual studies or BW to support its lower aromatization this way or just theory?
I've done two sq shots so far. Both with a 27ga 1/2. No pain, no lump. No real fat here either. 2X a week protocol. Dante I could be wrong but I think that theory is based on a twice a week protocol as compared to one time a week. Less injected=less spike in E.
Kel has it correct as usual.
IM or SC both have efficacy; it's just a matter of what your personal choice is.
SC has many more benefits over IM in my opinion as noted in many threads here.
It is important to massage the injection site for about a minute after SC to smooth out the Test in the fat tissue.
I see, so as far as e2 is concerned, its due only because of the need for splitting your weekly shots, which obviously can be split via IM as well.
It was weird that my second injection dissipated quicker than the first. I massaged for a good while too. I'm gonna let this lump fade out and try again in a few weeks. Sorry for the hi-jack OP.
When I start injecting my TRT again (finishing up some gel before it goes bad) I am going to do SQ again. My first trail was a fail but i was doing 1cc and got a lump and was sore for almost a week. 2nd time I only did 1/2 cc and had no issues. I will just do it 2x a week instead of 1x a week also helping to keep things at a normal range. Any thoughts of injecting different locations such as stomach (normal for SQ), glutes, quads ect? Sorry I dont mean to hijack the thread and hope you will take it as just added information for all of us.
Hijack away. That's why I posted it to get others views and experiences. Thank you for Your post. I think you can sq anywhere there is fat.Originally Posted by lovbyts
Is anyone subQ'n 200mg/ml a week? How do you break it down? Twice a week at half a ml a dose or three shots a week at .33 ml?
I pin 200 mg a week from a strength of 200mg/ml.........I pin once a week at the moment, quite honestly these sub Q shots are the shit, painless, cheap, and I haven't felt a drop like I did with once a week IM shots..........everybody is different, but I'm all for simplicity with results, how could you ask for more.![]()
SubQ definitely seems less "invasive" so to speak. Used a 30 ga thursday night. Time consuming loading but well worth it. Options are a good thing.
So you shoot a whole ml subQ in one location?Originally Posted by JD250
I've read conflicting stuff on subQ shot and how they affect E2 levels. Some say it increases E2 level and some say you have less of a spike. Can someone put it to rest for me?
