Whey & Oats.... Pre&Post Workout.. Ok?

    Hi,

Just wondering if the Whey & Oats is sufficient and a good route to take for my Pre and Post workout nutrition... I am trying to lose about 10lbs in the next 3 - 4 weeks before my next cycle.

    Rough Diet...

    8am- 3 yolks & 6 egg whites

    11am- 6oz mean, Spinich salad w/Shredded cheese

    3pm- Meat & Veggies

    6pm Pre-Whey & Oats

    7pm-8:30pm GYM

8:30 post- whey & oats.. maybe banana here.

    9:30- Lean Beef & Veggies

    Thanks

I wouldn't use whey at all pre... casein or a protein blend would be much better. Personally I like blends best.

As for post, whey is ok here but again I'd stick with a blend - why not get the benefits of different amino profiles and absorption rates. The oats are a great source for both meals... I use them for both as well.

Any tips on whole food meals for Pre? Or should I stick to the shakes if trying to cut?

    Thanks

I am with GB here, except I mix ON Casein and ON Whey. For breakfast the majority of the protein is Casein but still add some whey for quick absorbtion.

For PWO I like 1/2 whey 1/2 casein or maybe 3/4 whey. Its preference really. For PWO OATS!!! Ive done great doing that.

    Good Luck
