    extended cycle

    I know this place gets bombarded with noobs asking for first cycle advice, but I think my issue is a little different. Ive been researching about roids and hormones for almost 3 years now and would like some veteran advice.

    Im getting ready to run my first cycle and the tons of research ive done is almost making me more unsure of what exactly I want to do. I am now thinking about running test-E at 200mg/wk for 24 weeks. I know its more common to do 4-500 mg/week for 12 weeks but the more I read, the more I see experienced users say that coming off the juice is dumb and to just stay on for long ass periods of time. What should I do? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. thanks

    What are you stats? Age, height, weight, bf%? I don't think anybody should stay on for 24 weeks on there first cycle...

    24 years old. Been lifting for over 3 years. Currently 205 lbs at 5'11'' and around 15% bf

    I think you would be better off running test e at 500 mg a week for 12 weeks. 24 weeks is a long time to be on especially on your first cycle. You don't want to risk doing permanant damage and be forced to be on trt for the rest of you life... What ai will you use? What is your plan for pct? Everybody says to wait until you are 25 to cycle. You are pretty close so if you choose to go through with it I suggest you read up a little on the dangers associated with doing steroids when you are young.

    That is a horrible idea. I dont know where you have been doing your research. But i would recommend reading here and heading back to the drawing board
    If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

    24 wk cycle?? That's not good...10-12 weeks would work fine @ 400-500mgs/wk. Make sure you have your AIs and Serms on hand

    I think all you wil get out of test 200 a week is shut down. Especialy running it for 24 weeks.

    I was initially planning to do a standard test-e cycle for 12 weeks, but the thought of cruising/blasting intrigued me. I have arimidex on hand and will pct with nolva. I was going to use the arimidex sparingly because I dont want to decrease my estrogen too much while cycling

    Will do. I honestly dont even know why Im trying to deviate from the standard anyways. I just want to make crazy gains and some real huge guys I know are pretty much on for most of the year.

    interesting. Whats the standard mg/week when someone is cruising? Also, how long do people usually stay on when cruising?

    I dont blast and cruise, I use time on plus pct equals time off and allways recover well. It takes very little to shut down your natural test, at least temporarily.

    Your probably going to be unhappy with the results when you come off regardless. Finding someone with their diet in check before their first cycle is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I know guys doing long cycles like you describe but they all have had multiple cycles. Hate to bring bro science into this, but the guy who really benefits from 24 wk cycles imo is the guy in his 30s or 40s who has been lifting and cycling forever. These guys somehow look amazing with moderate lifts and low doses, most likely because they put in their hard time when they were younger.

    I'll just keep it simple. Thanks for the help everyone. My diet is good, but like all things, it could be better.
