1st gluteal injection: Redness and heat?

hey guys i have a small issue maybe you can help me with. I just did my 1st glute injection and am experiencing some redness and heat. it has subsided slightly and this is day 3. I also have a hard line on the bottom of my glute going toward my hamstrings. any explanation or cure?

Did you pull the syringe back after pinning the muscle to ensure you weren't in a vein? The line existing at day 3 seems odd. Is it oil or water?

Then I have no idea what it could be. The soreness isn't out of the ordinary, but the hard line is. If it were me I'd be massaging it in hopes that I could spread it out, assuming that is in fact the steroid doing that. Might even have something to do with a nerve issue.

i have read mixed reviews on massaging them but this is the first time im asking you guys so any little bit helps im going to start massaging it tonight. redness and heat is normal though correct?

i thought it might be a nerve issue but i did the top outside corner of glute so i thought that i would have avoided any nerves

Massaging the injection site is always a good idea in my opinion. I've always done this right after injection to ensure a smoother absorption and to avoid lumping. But yeah, it sounds like you picked the right place to inject, this seems fairly out of the ordinary, I hope it goes away man. Red and soreness is typical if you haven't already been pinning that muscle a few times.

can lumping occur in a line? it seem more like what this is. I am only worried about the line shaped lump and the heat

I did my first two this week and feel like I'm sitting on baseballs. It hasnt eased up at all. Massaging didn't do squat. I'm just trying to deal the best I can. Hopefully.near the end I can sit on the floor and play with my son.

I had that problem before and its most likely just a reaction to the gear. As long as its subsiding you should have nothing to worry about. If the redness and heat in anyway gets worse, its probably an infection. Try running a HOT bath and sit yo ass down in it! lol...that should help along with continuing to move around as much as possible.

Sorry to hear that man. I've been much more fortunate in that regard this cycle. So far the only injection that has caused any notable soreness was when I shot the top/outer portion of my thighs at the end near my knees for the first time. Massaging the injection site won't cause a miracle, but it can only help.

I always use cyp. I tried enth for two shots and both times I swelled up badly on my glute and down the side of my leg and it lasted for about a week. I've heard others not tolerate enth as well. For me, 100's of cyp and test undecanoate (nebido for trt) with no issues. Two enth shots and total disaster.
